As I mentioned on another post, no one can equal George W in the gaff department.

I wish I had saved my 2008 calendar. It featured a ton of gaffs George said during his presidency. Each month featured a slew of crazy statements he had made.

I suppose it would be almost impossible to do as much speaking as these people have to do without making a ton of misstatements along the way.

Think of the misspelling we all do here. The typo's. Wouldn't it be boring if we couldn't laugh a bit at the gaffs we hear?

I'm sure I have several mistakes in this post. Hmmmmmm, don't think I will change anything.

renie

I've seen those Bush calendars--they're hilarious. Also, Molly Ivins (RIP), who knew him first in Texas. She really had the words for him.

Have you seen why Obama takes a teleprompter wherever he goes:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDJSVPAx8xc&NR=1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThEAO0lt4Dw&feature =related

Those are funny, Bob.

I'm think'in that if some of our pastors would use a teleprompter, the sermon might not go on and on and on.

renie

Biden used the outdated, current station as a backdrop. Pikeville is just north of Goldsboro in Wayne County.

"We're investing in places like this all across the country," Biden said, "to demonstrate the vital role towns like this play in the recovery."

Most of the money for the station that was announced Wednesday, however, had been secured last year under the Bush administration, according to fire department officials.

State Sen. David Rouzer, a Republican who represents Pikeville and worked in the Agriculture Department under President Bush, said he helped secure the fire department money last year out of the federal agency's regular programs
<!-/quote-!>

Is this Bob Sand's forum, or does he simply have lots of free time? Of the 28 posts today, he's written 20 of them!

Get busy Elaine. You're welcome to post more. You of all of us should have the most time but some weeks, months, post the least. Spectrum taking your time up, they accept your stuff better over there???

Elaine, you do not have as great a concern as others as the forum winds down to 3 or 4 strands. I wish to see this forum continue. I am not as sure of your dedication to that end having read some of your material here and on Spectrum. Though we agree occasionally, I am confounded sometimes with your Godless answers at times, that lead only to death and dust.

Jump in, keep the forum going. Clarify your points, if you can. Yet if you are spending more time elsewhere, own up to it, before criticizing others for their time here!!!!

I'm amazed at how much time you spend on Spectrum, so what???

(Message edited by Bob_2 on April 03, 2009)

100 daze..100 mistakes

most AGAINST Americas interest....

such as Obama taking over the census, and planning to give ACORN unlimited funds to "find" more alien, non English speaking, welfare democrat voters who have no vested stake in making America work....

A. Specter sees the specter of the future and switched. Now joins Murtha in hoping to become the biggest purveyor of pork in the now un democratically controlled Democratic congress.

http://www.nypost.com/seven/04252009/postopinion/o pedcolumnists/100_days__100_mistakes_166177.htm
