#5 - Avatars

An avatar is a tiny image you can show on all your posts that gives us an idea of who you are.  I'm not sure if I like them yet, but you can look at mine and see if it's something you'd like to do for yourself.

I am concerned about clutter, but I figure these avatars are harmless for now.

My avatar is a picture of my son and me (when I had much longer hair!) watching the changing of the guard at the Martyr's Shrine in Taipei.

I really like the new software Ryan.  You are doing a great job.

The quote button allows us to know whom the poster is answering.  this is one big improvement.  I am sure as I continue to navigate I will find more goodies that will help me to improve posting.

I don't think anyone would care to see my mug on an avatar, but it is a nice addition for those who want to use it.    Thanks a million,  bob
