As W would say, I can access the 'internets' for a bit!

So, here goes...

Interesting you never talked this way to J.R. ....

LAW 1: "Never outshine the MASTER".

For example, lets say that John and yourself had been given the opportunity for an exclusive interview with the former dictator Idi Amin. Idi walks into the room with a booger hanging out of his nostril.

John, following Law 1, would not even appear to notice the booger. Bob would immediately point out to Idi that there was a large booger hanging from his nostril and that it would be impossible to conduct the interview with the distraction of that large booger.

After a temporary delay (in order to accommodate Idi's brief absence from the room to witness Bob's execution) John began the interview.

OR, if Idi was in such a random mood, he might execute John for not bringing the obvious to his attention and letting him embarrass himself in front of the cameras and all the world, and maybe put a medallion around my neck for pointing it out. Speculation can be fun, eh, Neal??

<!-quote-!>quote:
Over the last 400,000 years the natural upper limit of atmospheric CO2 concentrations was about 300 ppm. Today, CO2 concentrations worldwide average about 370 ppm. Humans may be able to take credit for some of these additions, but not all of them. Earth's plant life will respond to soak up these additions with additional biologic activity, but this takes time. Meanwhile perhaps up to 9% of CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere today may be attributable to human-related activities like agriculture, industry, and transportation. Compared to former geologic periods, concentrations of CO2 in our atmosphere are still very small and may not have a statistically measurable effect on global temperatures. For example, during the Ordovician Period 460 million years ago CO2 concentrations were 4400 ppm while temperatures then were about the same as they are today.<!-/quote-!>

http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/last_400k_yrs.ht ml

Kind of liberating doling out millions of years and speculating like this.

Hey, Neal, I'm glad you are getting some quality time with your immortality, your kids, before your mortality sets in. SERIOUSLY, if that is all you believe in, relative to immortality. And if you are teaching your kids they are Pastafarians, this is good for them to have some fun before their mortality sets in. THINK ABOUT IT!!!!! No hope. That is where Obama's slogan, The Audacity of Hope, is meaningful, Hope of Eternal Life, which you admit is satisfied in the genes passed on to your kids. Enjoy the time off with them.

Sarcasticly unChristian, rude, obnoxious, borderline unbalanced, and

if this is the way to bring people to "the Truth" as one (mis)understands it..... no wonder organized religion is losing members.
If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

John, I have been called delusional and insane for believing Jesus lived on the earth and that there is a hope of eternal life by Neal. Even Jesus call His mockers "whited sepulchres". Neal has mentioned his immortality is his children. He has admitted he has instructed at least one of his children in Pastafarianism. Where is the offense?

You ought to be fighting your own battles, defending your mockery to me, which are plentiful. I have thick skin, but you never rise or rarely rise to my defense by Elaine and Neal get your attention. Clarification please.

Additionally, who is talking about organized religion. I'm not trying to get any of you into the West County SDA Church here in St. Louis, or the PCA church here in St. Louis. Which organization were you talking about, John??? The Church, Jesus Christ???

Hey, Neal, I'm glad you are getting some quality time with your immortality, your kids, before your mortality sets in.

That is a speculative statement. You know nothing of the details of my plans and whether some or all of my family are accompanying me.

Quit making yourself look stupid.

Hey, Neal welcome back.

Neal, you are the one giving the travelogue, the clearer you are, the less stupid people will appear to you, if you care. So clarify away, but calling people stupid, when you insinuate what you are doing only sets yourself up to be misunderstood.

I am not particularly interested in your trip other than your definitions of immortality which leads one to the sort of conclusion like I have made.

Someone on this forum told me, if you don't want your wife involved in the discussion, don't mention her at all, similarly, you don't want people commenting on a trip you apparently have informed a few offline what you are up to, expect misunderstanding or "stupidity" as assumptions are made.

Neal, you are the one giving the travelogue....

A travelogue? Stating that me, myself, and I will be traveling a lot over the next 3 1/2 months, ending at my mother's home is HARDLY a travelogue.

... the clearer you are, the less stupid people will appear to you, if you care. So clarify away, but calling people stupid, when you insinuate what you are doing only sets yourself up to be misunderstood.

I never said you were stupid in reference to your comment on this thread. I said "appear stupid". Again, don't make up falsehoods and attribute them as the statements of others.

I am not particularly interested in your trip other than your definitions of immortality which leads one to the sort of conclusion like I have made.

Which is why you keep stating falsehoods. Without the speculation that my kids are with me you would not be able to make the comments. Therefore, you just make up stuff out of thin air in order to make your pointless point.

Someone on this forum told me, if you don't want your wife involved in the discussion, don't mention her at all, similarly, you don't want people commenting on a trip you apparently have informed a few offline what you are up to, expect misunderstanding or "stupidity" as assumptions are made.

Again, lying Bob at work.

Please back up your assertion with some evidence that I have written or spoken to anybody on this forum about my trips this summer.

I think your lack of reading comprehension skills has bitten you again.

Have a nice evening, where ever you are, Neal.

Well, my summer travels are about done.

I've had a good time.

To tell you the truth, I have really enjoyed not thinking about this forum very often. Therefore, I am retiring from posting here.

Bob- get a grip, then get your citizenship.

Don- email if u want to keep in touch.

John, Elaine- its been fun. Time for me to focus on what I can do for the advancement of science instead of debating those that rely on the knowledge from the time of the invention of the wheelbarrow for their beliefs.

To anybody and everybody else- cheerio!

Science, good endeavor! But may only lead to the fact that they are only man's observations, when you rule out anything that is not observable by man but still happened and is in existance. Cheerio old boy, never seen someone so in love with their own observations and self. It called Narcissism isn't it?
