Has anyone in power explained what our mission is in Afghanistan? What are the goals, and what are the American people committed to achieving? If the majority of Americans no longer believe that our 8-yr. presence there has any good future, there will continue to be deaths in trying to control what is, essentially, a civil war--a war which there will be no winners, only losers for the occupiers.
